A reception for the Bluffton University art exhibit featuring three Goshen College art professors will be held 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11.
The exhibit, running Feb. 1-Feb. 23, includes work from Randy Horst, professor of art, Merrill Krabill, professor of art and John Mishler, associate professor of art. Featured pieces cover the gamut of artistic expression. Horst’s work focuses on the microcosm of the individual, Krabill’s work probes the transcendence of the spiritual and Mishler’s work is invention in service of the graceful.
What is it? A treasure chest? Collage? Art work? It could be all three. It's a photograph of costume jewelry on sale in the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center display case. The photo was taken from above, looking down at three different shelf levels.
The commitment of faculty and staff to Bluffton’s mission and values leads to successful outcomes for students.
Several long-serving Bluffton University employees were recently recognized for this commitment during the annual faculty and staff recognition dinner where employees—reaching 5-year milestones up to 30 years—were celebrated.
