DELAWARE, Ohio - In perfect fall weather conditions, the Bluffton men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in a field of 18 teams in Liberty Park (Powell, Ohio) in the Great Lakes Pre-Regional Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
TIFFIN, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team suffered two blemishes Saturday on day two of the No One Fights Alone Invitational at Heidelberg University. The Beavers lost their first match to Thomas More in four sets (28-26, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20) before being swept by Heidelberg (27-25, 25-21, 25-10).
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University football team kicked off their home opener against Trine University in their last non-conference game of the regular season. The Thunder got off to a hot start and didn’t slow down. The Beavers had no answer to Trine’s offense as they dropped to 0-2 following a 55-14 setback.
The Bluffton University music department recently hosted students from Bluffton Exempted Village Schools for the Instrumental Petting Zoo. The event helps music director, David Sycks, generate interest in music programs and helps Bluffton students gain hands-on experience working with kids. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Bluffton University, will host the annual business showcase on Thursday, Sept. 21, at Marbeck Center Commons on the Bluffton University Campus.

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team fell to #4 Wittenberg on the opening night of the No One Fights Alone Invitational at Heidelberg University. Bluffton stands 4-2, while the Tigers stayed perfect at 4-0.
The Beavers led 5-4 in the first before Wittenberg took control with a 6-1 spurt for the 10-6 lead. The Tigers never looked back, dispatching Bluffton in three quick sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-11).
