$4.5 million project will begin this spring;
$1.5 million capital campaign will support project
The Women’s Center of Bluffton Hospital will be established at Bluffton Hospital this year as the hospital fine-tunes its focus to better serve women.
The announcement follows a yearlong evaluation of services and development of a long-term plan by the hospital administration.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's basketball team battled for 40 minutes, but fell to their fifth straight defeat at the hands of the Defiance College Yellow Jackets, 76-68, on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The loss knocks the Beavers back to the .500 mark at 8-8 and to 3-6 in HCAC play. The win keeps Defiance in a tie for second at 7-2 in the conference standings and the Jackets sit at 9-7 overall.

For decades, organizations have used intelligence quotient or IQ to measure and predict future success. However, in the 1990s, a new concept emerged as an alternative.
That measurement is known as Emotional Intelligence or EI. Dr. George Lehman, Howard Raid Endowed Chair and professor of business, explored the practical uses of both concepts and shared his findings during a colloquium presentation called, A Primer on Emotional Intelligence.
