The Bluffton University Gospel Choir will present its annual spring concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in Yoder Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public; an offering will be taken for music scholarships.

Dr. Crystal Sellers Battle, an assistant professor of music, directs the choir, which includes students, faculty, staff and community members. Students Rebecca Juliana, Joe Wilson and Julia Thomas will be soloists for the concert.

A solution may be at hand for the water seepage problem in the National Quarry (check here for story).

The Naval Corp of Engineers announced plans to will send a project crew to Bluffton next week. That crew will conduct a Seepage Document Projection Analysis (SDPA). One probable solution is to fill the seam with recycled Styrofoam. This water absorbent man-made product has a half-life of 500 years.
