Bluffton Hospital challenges you to race (or walk) to Rudolph
Icon viewers can join the “Race to Rudolph,” a Bluffton Hospital walking challenge.
The challenge is for all participants to walk 75 total miles (150,000 steps), which happens to be the distance from Bluffton Hospital to Rudolph, Ohio, and back again.
Participants will keep a daily log of steps and record those steps on a card provided to them.
Once those steps are completed, the participant will submit the walking log for a chance to win some prizes.
Winners will be selected randomly from those completing the challenge.
Complete walking logs should be submitted by leaving them in the Santa mailbox in the Bluffton Hospital main lobby (Garau Street entrance).
Sign-up started today and will continue until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5. Persons interested in participating should go to the main lobby and ask for Amanda Dysert.
Prizes:
• Grand prize – for ages 14 and above – A family membership to the Bluffton Family Recreation Center and a Fitbit Charge.
• Second place – Four additional winners will be selected to win Fitbit Charges.
• Children’s prizes (ages 13 and under) – Youth class certificate provided by the Putnam County YMCA.
Winners will be drawn at noon on Friday, Dec. 18. Contact Bluffton Hospital administration at 419-369-2348 for more information.
