David Leiber was a Bluffton High School graduate
David K. Leiber, 57, of Bluffton, died April 17, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. David was born Nov. 14, 1959, in Bluffton to Donald and Lola (Dangler) Leiber.
David graduated from Bluffton High School. He had been a farmer and also worked as a mechanic at Leiber Garage in Bluffton and OH Materials in Findlay. He had attended Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton, enjoyed vacationing especially near the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Lola Leiber of Bluffton; his life-long partner of 26 years, Steve Grabow of Bluffton; a brother, Jim Leiber of Bluffton; two sisters, Cathy (Gary) Hill and Cynthia (Thomas) Zeigler both of Bluffton; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Cheryl Davis of Celina.
David was preceded in death by his father, Donald Leiber; a nephew, Taylor Dickey and a niece, Kelly Ziegler.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 21, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Jeremy Mann officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
