Two new activities, both in the downtown area, join this year’s Bluffton Fall Festival.

Senior Citizens Center
The Bluffton Senior Center, 132 N. Main St., will host a toy car show, according to Tonya Meyer, director.

"We are looking for collectors young and old, who collect Matchbox, Hot Wheels or other toy cars to display during the festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m." she said.

The show will be free and open to the public. There is no cost to display the toy cars.

The Center will be offering a light lunch of sandwiches, hot dogs, sides and desserts during the show. Any interested participants can contact the Senior Center at 419-358-8971 or email [email protected].

Bluffton Area Ministerial Association
Also new this year's is a songfest of sorts sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association, according to Rev. Jeremy Manns, pastor or Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

"The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) will set up a tent on the lawn of the Presbyterian Church as a sign of our local faith communities coming together in worshiping God through song," he told the Icon.

Performances by musicians from Bluffton congregations will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

The final half hour is a hymn sing-along with members from BAMA congregations joining together to lead in the singing.

"We will have drinks available for those who wish to join us in offering glory to God with music," added Mann.

Farmers’ Market
Bluffton Farmers’ Market will also take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Citizens National Bank parking lot on South Main Street.

These events are part of the larger Bluffton Fall Festival set for Saturday.
