Catherine Weyer 1931-2018
Catherine M. Weyer, 86, died Jan. 2, 2018, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Catherine was born Dec. 28, 1931, in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Burdette and Florence (Peters) Bowsher. On April 22, 1950, she married Robert Weyer who preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2014.
Survivors include her four children, Debra (Craig) Main of Bluffton, Kevin L. (Catherine) Weyer of Bluffton, Kathleen Deringer of Marysville, Robert B. Weyer of Ada; four siblings, Bill (Lucy) Bowsher of Harrod, Jack (Caroline) Bowsher of Cygnet, Walter (Beverly) Bowsher of Cygnet, Norma Bowsher of Findlay; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by a son, Ricky L. Weyer; two brothers, Don Bowsher, Kenneth Bowsher; and a grandson, Robert L.B. Weyer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Service, Bluffton with Bill Herr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton at a later date.
Visitation will be held from noon. until time of the service at the funeral home.
