Jefferson Street bridge slated for 2019 replacement
Bluffton council will act on legislation on Monday that will put into motion the replacement of the Jefferson Street bridge over Riley Creek.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) project is on the 2019 project calendar.
ODOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will pay for the bridge replacement. Should the village request certain features not in the ODOT-FHWA plans, the village will pay for those features.
A start date and projected completion date are not yet determined.
Council will also hear reports from several committee meetings. Those include: personnel, streets and finance.
Council’s Monday agenda is attached at the bottom of this story.
