Beaverdam Bunch March-April 2023 report

Beaverdam Bunch reporter
My name is Avery Smith, and I have been given the opportunity to be the reporter for the Beaverdam Bunch 4-H club this year. Our club has started meeting again for the year of 2023 to start preparing us for this summer's judging.
March 13 and 27: These were the dates of our first 4-H meetings. The first meeting was the introduction of new members, and reintroduction of returning members for the year. The following week included the voting of 4-H officers. These include: Addie Businger as president, Braeden Ackerman as vice president, Brooke Camper as secretary, Alyssa Hoffman as treasurer, Lila and Rebecca as the recreation leaders, Jonathan McKanna and Sage Music as our safety and health speakers, and myself as the news reporter. With elections finished, we concluded our meeting.
April 10 and 24: As a group with about 18 members present, we talked about the forms and book orders that were due as soon as possible. Thank you letters from last season were then read by Brooke. More discussion was done on future ideas including community service opportunities and we started brainstorming ideas for this year's booth at the fair. The following meeting was April 24th, and was just a simple pickup for members books for the year.
