Richard E. Huss was a dentist
BLUFFTON--Richard E. Huss, 90, passed away August 2, 2023 at his residence. Richard was born August 27, 1932 in Pemberville, Ohio to the late Frederick and Ethel (Goodman) Huss. On December 20, 1952 he married Betty Strayer Huss who preceded him in death on August 28, 2020.
Richard received his bachelor's degree from Capital University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University. He practiced dentistry for many years in cooperation with Howard Shelly M.D. in Bluffton. Richard always loved taking care of his property and being outdoors.
Survivors include three children, Gregory (Peg) Huss of Findlay, Eric (Jodi) Huss of Lima, Renee Claire of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Huss, Ethan Huss, Evan (Livi) Huss and two great-grandchildren, Eliya and Evee Huss.
Richard was also preceded in death by: Sister, Roberta Debbe.
A memorial service may be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
