Griefshare support group will meet September-December
The support group GriefShare is returning to Bluffton beginning on September 7. GriefShare is for those who have lost a loved one, whether that loss is recent or not. The group meets weekly with the aim to be a warm, caring environment that will help participants on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
GriefShare is a network of 15,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from grief.
There are three key parts to the GriefShare experience:
Video Seminar: Encouraging information-packed videos featuring grief recovery experts.
Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content.
Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.
Bluffton’s weekly GriefShare group meets for 13 weeks and will run from September 7 to December 6. Meetings will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Town Hall 3rd Floor at 154 N. Main Street, Bluffton, Ohio. There is a $20 fee for the GriefShare workbook, but scholarships are available.
Contact Pastor Dick Potter or the Ebenezer Mennonite Church office if you are interested in attending the grief support group so that workbooks can be prepared.
For more information call 419-358-8588 or email [email protected]. Pastor Dick may also be reached at [email protected].
