Pirate boys soccer blanked by Liberty-Benton

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys soccer team lost 5-0 to visiting traditional power Liberty-Benton in a non-league match at Steinmetz Field on Tuesday, September 9.
The Pirates fell to 2-5-2 with the home defeat.
The Eagles improved to 6-1-1 after the win.
L-B scored two goals in the first half, then tallied three more in the final 20 minutes to win going away.
Eagle Tayton Troyer started the scoring in the 27th minute. Lincoln Holler made it 2-0 with a score five minutes later.
Holler then tallied again in the 61st minute. Aiden Hatch stretched the margin to 4-0 on an Aiden Hatch goal in the 75th minute.
Alex Becker found the back of the net three minutes later to close the scoring.
L-B also won the junior varsity match, 4-1.
Bluffton plays at unbeaten Kenton (5-0-1) on Thursday, Sept. 11.
