ICYMI: Bluffton Icon Highlights for November 2025
The following articles have been shared in printed form at the Bluffton Public Library, Bluffton Senior Center, Maple Crest and Musselman Library at Bluffton University.
Dear readers,
Here’s the November 2025 Highlights issue from BlufftonIcon.com. As you might expect, November was a busy month in the Village. We were also treated to some snow after almost all holiday decorations were in place.
What was memorable about the past month? Hold on—let’s dip into October for results of the October 31 Region 22 football playoffs. An upset loss to Collins Western Reserve wrapped up the BHS Pirates' season.
A profile of Sanctuary Housing–where owners Ryan and Jessica Meyer are converting an Elm St. Church into housing–is provided courtesy of freelance contributor Liz Gordon-Hancock.
A memorable Veterans Day program at Bluffton High School was provided by American Legion Post 382. Local veterans provided a Q&A session on their experiences serving in the U.S. military.
Council coverage includes notes on long-serving elected officials Jerry Cupples, Mitch Kingsley and Dave Steiner.
Next month, watch for Council reports from Betsi Werling, who also covers the Bluffton School Board and Ada School Board.
