Filing Deadline Date for 2025 Income Tax Returns: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026
New for 2025 Tax Filings
The Village of Bluffton plans to launch an online e-filing feature on its website by February 9, 2026. To use this service, taxpayers must have an established account with the Village Income Tax Office. Individuals who have previously filed a Bluffton tax return already have an established account.
Those who have not must contact the Village Tax Office to get an account setup. No username or password is needed to use this feature. Access is granted by entering your Social Security number and last name.
This feature will allow individuals to file their 2025 Bluffton income tax return, upload supporting documentation, and make tax payments online. Paper documents will still be available in the lobby of the Town Hall building located at 154 N. Main St., Bluffton or they can be printed from the village’s website at www.bluffton-ohio.com.
Businesses will also be able to submit 2025 employee W-2s, W-3 reconciliation forms, and tax payments through the system. Businesses that issued 10 or more W-2s in tax year 2025 are being asked to submit their W-2s and W-3 forms either through the online portal or by delivering them to the Bluffton Income Tax office on a thumb drive. To access the system, businesses will need their federal EIN and their Village-assigned account ID.
File format specifications and Village account numbers will be provided to each business within the next two weeks.
