October 19 Planning Commission hearings for Chestnut Lane and Main St. requests
MEDIA RELEASE__The Village of Bluffton Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main Street, Bluffton, Ohio, to consider the following matters:
1. Chestnut Lane Development – Amendment to Approved Plans
Bob Fett is requesting approval of an alteration to the previously approved plans for the Chestnut Lane development to allow the addition of one condominium unit at the end of the existing cul-de-sac.
2. Brandon Blackford – Zoning District Amendment
Brandon Blackford is requesting an amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the Village of Bluffton to change the zoning classification of Parcel No. 28-1108-01-001.001, located at the intersection of Parkview Drive and South Main Street, from R-I Residential District to R-II Residential District to allow for the proposed development of a professional financial services office.
The proposed office use would require a separate Conditional Use review, public hearing and approval from the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals if the requested zoning amendment is approved.
The Planning Commission will receive comments from interested property owners and members of the public concerning these requests before making a recommendation to Village Council. Information concerning either request is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Village of Bluffton Administration Office, 154 N. Main Street, Bluffton, Ohio 45817.
