Deborah "Debbie" Welch, 74, passed away October 12, 2026, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Debbie was born March 27, 1952, in Bluffton to the late Robert and Betty (Davenport) Walters. On July 16, 1970 she married Wayne Welch, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2015. 

Debbie graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1970. She had a love for music, painting and crafting. 

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Amanda Robirds) Welch of Forest, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hailey and Alaina Robirds and three sisters, Sue (Leo) Oliver of Findlay, Kathey Nussbaum of Arizona, and Robin (R.J. Cowdery) Walters of Columbus, Ohio.

Debbie was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Wilson.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery, Bluffton with Pastor Mike Noggle officiating.
