Nancy K. Stewart 1942-2011
Nancy K. Stewart, 69 of Bluffton died at 4:22 a.m. June 18, 2011 at Triumph Hospital, Lima. She was born June 11, 1942, in to Clifford and Dorothy Garmatter Houts. Her mother survives in Bluffton. On June 22, 1963 she married Richard Stewart and he survives.
Nancy was a homemaker and was also a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton and a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors also include a son, Bradley Stewart of Lima, a daughter, Kimberly Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz., three grandchildren, Josh, Justin and Sarah Stewart, a great granddaughter, Vanessa Stewart, a step-granddaughter, Amanda Osborne and a brother, Anthony (Janet) Houts of Dayton, Nevada. She was preceded in death by twin sons, David Albert and Douglas Alan Stewart.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Eric Rummel will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Rescue Mission or Youth for Christ. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
