Perhaps the weather outside is frightful, or if you plan to be home for Christmas, but only in your dreams, If so, The Icon offers you an armchair view of the Harry and Dorothy Ream holiday folk art display.

For newcomers to the community, the display was started in 1937 when electricity first came to rural Jenera. Dorothy and Harrry started the display in their rural Jenera yard with one scene. Then, piece-by-piece, year-by-year, the display grew and grew.

When Dorothy died the display was given to the community of Bluffton. That was 26 years ago. The display has been shown in the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn ever since and thus, the Bluffton Blaze of Lights was born.
