The Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main, will be closed Monday April 8, 2024 due to the eclipse. 

April 2024 at the Bluffton Public Library is abuzz with programs and a celebration of National Library Week. Subject matter includes the total solar elclipse, watercolors, local history, health, live music, chilling and chess. Some programs require advance registration, marked (R).

American Eclipse book discussion with Bob Antibus

The Bluffton Public Library will be holding a book discussion with Robert Antibus on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. He will be discussing the book American Eclipse by David Baron. 

Noon Book Group to read The Art Thief

The Bluffton Public Library Noon Book Group will read The Art Thief by Michael Finkel for the Wednesday, April 3 discussion.

Symphony Storytime conjures up a snowy day at the library

This week members of the Lima Symphony Orchestra treated children at Bluffton Public Library to an entertaining Symphony Storytime.

Lima Symphony to bring music storytime to Bluffton

At 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, the Lima Symphony Orchestra will brings its popular Symphony Storytime to the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St. The program, “Dancing in the Snow,” brings music, dancing, and favorite winter-themed books together into an interactive, educational storytime. 

Children and their families are invited to this free program sponsored by area businesses. Classic and new children’s books will be featured, including The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, The Snow Dancer by Addie Boswell, illustrated by Merce López, and The Snowman Waltz by Karen Konnerth, illustrated by Emily Neilson.
