BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior defensive end Isaac Zickafoose (Middlebury, Ind./Northridge) has been named a pre-season 1st Team All-American by HERO Sports for 2017. The standout lineman was one of three 1st Team honorees from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Volleyball Team heads into the 2017 season having won the Heartland Conference tournament the past four seasons. The Beavers capped off a 24-9 campaign with their first-ever NCAA Tournament victory when they downed Wisconsin-Oshkosh in five sets last season! Bluffton will work to keep its NCAA tournament string alive by qualifying for a fifth straight time and ninth in program history.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Cross Country teams have lofty goals for the 2017 campaign. The high expectations are due to the exciting conclusion of the 2016 season and the quality of the returning runners from last year. The men's team finished fourth at the HCAC meet and experienced the graduation of just one of the top five (scoring) athletes.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - A deep recruiting class along with an experienced core of returners has Head Coach Rhonda (Gottschalk) Smith eagerly anticipating her third year at the helm. The 2015 Beavers put together one of the best seasons in school history and Smith has assembled a talented squad to help Bluffton build on that foundation. Despite a rash of injuries last season, the Beavers stayed upbeat in 2016, forging a tight bond that will drive the program as it moves forward.
The women’s soccer team at Bluffton University is hosting a mentorship program for girls in the first through eighth grades who are interested in connecting with Bluffton’s women soccer players.
Each KITS Club participant will be paired with a player from the team, and throughout the fall semester, participants will have the opportunity to take part in planned activities such as game day help, team dinners, soccer training and community involvement.
