Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm hosts their sixth annual family day on Saturday, July 20, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Tour the 1853 log cabin, take a self-guided walk on the trails to count butterflies, dragonflies, amphibians, enjoy the cool shade of the gardens and woods, and visit residents of the farm animal sanctuary.

Retired Bluffton police chief, Rick Skilliter, became executive director of PASS (Prevention Awareness Support Services), a non-profit organization serving Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties. The appointment was made on July 1.
PASS serves area communities through the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin counties.
PASS is expanding its footprint in Ohio as a certified prevention agency. According to a PASS news release, the addition of Skilliter allows for continuity of programming during that expansion.
The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) is holding a brown bag discussion on why and how to use Google listings for your business. The session will be from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, on the third floor of Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.
