Here's a workout idea: Climb the steps of the Bluffton University football stadium...if you are able. These are Bluffton tallest and most challenging steps, but the reward to the hiker appears to be of great value.

We are part of your communities. We know you, and you know us. As we all deal with COVID-19, we want to be a part of the solution; we want to educate and empower you to be a part of the solution also

We, your doctors and your nurse practitioners, are living and working together with you as the COVID-19 pandemic is unfolding.  

We are currently seeing an increasing number of people with this infection in Putnam county and surrounding areas.  We want to do everything we can to limit the spread of COVID-19 and need your help.

Here is the Bluffton council committee meeting schedule for the next few weeks:
• Personnel Committee – Wednesday, 7/15 at noon.
• Cemetery Board – Wednesday, 7/15 at 4:30 p.m.
• Streets, Lights, Alleys and Sidewalks – Wednesday, 7/15 at 5:30 p.m
• Finance Committee – Thursday, 7/23 at noon.
•The meetings will be held at the town hall.

Ada's Park in the Park on Saturday

Trophies, plaques in 18 different vehicle classes

This sounds like fun.

A “Park in the Park” car event takes place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, in the Ada War Memorial Park.

Kent and Dee Everhart host the event in appreciation to the Ada community for its 25 years of support of Everhart Trucking, which the couple sold earlier this year.

Car owners may register vehicles, open to all years of cars, motorcycles and trucks. Registration continues during the event until 6 p.m.

Trophies and plaques will be awarded at 6 p.m. in 18 different vehicle classes. A donation of $10 per entry is appreciated.

Bluffton schools will reopen for 2020-21 on Monday, Aug. 31, and reopening plans are posted on the school's website.  The information on the website follows below.

• When a student/staff member has been diagnosed with covid-19
• Student and staff health issues not related to covid-19
• Food services
• Classroom occupancy
• Remote learning
• Visitors/volunteers/parties/field trips
