Bluffton school board’s Monday evening agenda includes several back-to-school items.
Among items on the agenda include:
• Approval of payment for transporting students to private schools
• Increase the BHS student PSS Ocean Focus fund by $1,795
• Textbook disposal of eight books (7 middle school; 1 high school)
• Enter an agreement with Pandora-Gilboa schools for special education
2018 EPA report finds no violations in village drinking water

Relax and take a drink of Bluffton water. It has EPA approval.
The Environmental Protection Agency found that the Village of Bluffton drinking water is in full compliance with its regulations.
Those regulations are established by the Ohio EPA Division of Drinking and Ground Water and the findings are based upon information released this week for 2018.
In other words, Bluffton water is safe to drink. No violations were found among the required quality tests conducted.
Interstate 75 southbound near state Route 696, Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage. The work takes place the week of June 24 to 28.

Masterpiece Signs, 902 N. Main St., next Bluffton Cars and Coffee event is Saturday, June 22.
The event is an “informal gathering for enthusiasts and their cars," said Tim Boutwell. The monthly cars and coffee event continues through October. It is always held on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Each event is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: June 22, July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 28 and Oct. 26.
