How to prepare your children for a healthy school year

Summer is more than halfway over, and that means another school year is approaching. How should you prepare your kids for school?
Here are some important health issues to be aware of as you get your children school-ready.
The Library’s next meeting of the adult book discussion group is Wednesday, Sept. 4, at noon, and will be discussing "The Huntress" by Kate Quinn. The meeting includes a special visit by the author, via Skype.
The book discussion, open to the public, meets on the first Wednesday of the month. The monthly discussion group is open to new members and registration is requested.
Ask a librarian for a copy of the discussion group's book.
Bridge Bereavement Services is offering a “Sew Many Memories” grief support program on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Birchaven Village, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.
The Sept. 26 session is for planning purposes and the Oct. 6 session will be used for sewing. This program will offer participants the opportunity to turn their loved one’s clothing into a keepsake.
