Food pantry ready for Saturday's food distribution

This month volunteers have pre-packaged food bags for clients

Bluffton Community Assistance Program’s food pantry is preparing for Saturday’s pantry distribution in a new way, according to Ed Yeager, board president.

“For the safety of our clients, volunteers have pre-packaged food bags for pickup on Saturday,” he said. “The pre-packaged food will be distributed beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday once clients arrive.”

The food bags contain the same amount of pantry items that are available each month, it’s just that this month volunteers made the selections rather than clients.

Bluffton schools education format and meals update

It is the school's mission to find the balance between providing a solid education and not overly burdening our students as they learn outside the traditional supports that are provided by a face-to-face setting

The following letter is on the Bluffton school website:

As we move into a new form of teaching and learning, Bluffton Schools are looking to provide the very best education possible to our students.

Our approaches will not be perfect, but please be assured that we will work hard and continue to improve and eventually excel at our new delivery formats.
