SHANNON Service Club announces three $800 scholarships

Recipients are Ana Neufeld Weaver, Kaitylnn Rieman and Luke Denecker

The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton announces the winners of its “Service To Humanity” Scholarship Awards, given to graduating seniors of Bluffton High School. 
Here are this year's outstanding $800 scholarship winners: 

• Ana Neufeld Weaver, daughter of Paul and Laurel Neufeld Weaver. Ana will enter the field of music education at Goshen College.

• Kaitlynn Rieman, daughter of James and Jennifer Rieman. Kaitlynn intends to pursue a degree in nursing at Ohio Northern University.

Patrons of Bluffton Public Library may now drop off checked out library materials and schedule pickups of available library materials, according to Jessica Hermiller, library director. All library material drop-offs may be done at the library's 24-hour outdoor book drop only. Hanover College wins HCC women’s all-sports title

Hanover College was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's All-Sports Champion following the 2019-20 campaign. The Panthers accumulated 62.3 points in the standings to garner the award, capturing their ninth overall women's title.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the reopening of certain facilities including certain entertainment facilities with health and safety restrictions.

“As I’ve said, Ohioans are able to do two things at once. We can continue to limit the spread of COVID-19 while we safely reopen our economy. It is up to each of us to do what we can to keep each other safe and choose to keep six feet of social distance, wear masks, and maintain good hand hygiene.” said Governor DeWine.
