Principal candidates interviewed on March 30

Bluffton school board will hold a special meeting to interview candidates for the elementary principal position that opened with the announcement of Tim Closson's retirement.

The meeting takes place in executive session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, in the elementary media center.

John F. Steiner married Barbara Habegger on March 15, 1832, in France. John was also known as “Buchwald Hans” because of the area where he was born.

Paula Stewart 1948-2021

Paula Rae Stewart, 72, died March 24, 2021, at Bridge Hospice Care Center - Findlay.  Paula was born July 14, 1948, in Bluffton to the late Willis and Phyllis (Grismore) Mayberry who preceded her in death. On July 10, 1966, she married Dave Stewart and he survives.

Paula graduated from Columbus Grove High School. She was a homemaker and active member of Lima First Church singing with the Worship Team and helping with the children's ministries.
