Ready for school? Here's next school year's supply list

Yes, we know.

School ended a couple days ago.

Just the same, for parents thinking about next school year, the Icon provides the elementary and middle school supply list for 2016-17.

The elementary list includes supplies needed for first, second, third, four and fifth graders. No supplies are requried for Kindergarten students. 

The middle school list is for sixth, seventh and eighth graders.

Jeffery Brodman was a 1975 Bluffton HS graduate

Jeffrey A. Brodman, 58, of Bluffton died May 28, 2016, at 8:38 p.m. at St. Rita’s Hospice, Lima. Jeff was born September 4, 1957, in Upper Sandusky to Bernard and Nancy England Brodman. His mother survives in Bluffton.

Jeff was employed at Tower Automotive, Bluffton, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of UAW Local 1327 and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. He was a graduate of Bluffton High School 1975.

Funeral arrangements incomplete for Steve Yoder

Steven J. Yoder, 60, of Bluffton, died June 1, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic.  Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Victoria Bowers was a 2012 Bluffton University graduate

Victoria Anne 'Tori' Miller Bowers, 27, died Monday, May 30, 2016, in her sleep from a rare heart condition.

She was born May 9, 1989, in Wooster to Errol and Kathlene Suter Miller of Jeromesville, and married Myles Bowers on July 28, 2012. He survives.
