A: Yes.

Q: When?
A: Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Blufton Community Swimming Pool during National Night Out. (Same as in 2015.)

A square deal

Mary Ann Suter stitches together squares of a comforter at First Mennonite Church. Suter and other women from the church were making comforter tops in preparation for the next project day of Mennonite Women. Twice a year, the women’s group gathers to knot comforters, which will then be finished and contributed to Mennonite Central Committee for distribution to people around the world.

Ride to Remember also a "community fun day" on July 16

This year’s Ride to Remember bike ride on Saturday, July 16, has several new features with special invitations to the community that turns the event into a community fun day.

Last year’s inaugural ride attracted 100 bikers to Bluffton. This year hopes to have more riders, plus activities for the community.

Here’s the plan so far:

• An 8 a.m. mass start takes place at Bluffton Family Recreation on Snider Road.  The mass start includes a “parade” of riders southbound on Main Street to the Dairy Freeze where various routes split.
