Yesterday's nuthatch is today's woodpecker. Like yesterday, we've merged two photos of our favorite feathered friend of the day into one. When woody is on the feeder, it doesn't share space with other birds. Looking closely, we think we know why. The next photo is this series demonstrates the Icon's separate by equal approach to feeding the birds.

Amber Boop, Bluffton High School junior, is the February artist of the month.
"This piece is called Rat House and it's a piece I really love," she told the Icon. "When drawing it the personalities of the rats emerged and evolved. Each of them has a unique personality and story. I loved being able to develop them and their little world.
Amber says that she enjoys art because she enjoys developing a world with her hands.
"I can shape this world however I wish," she said. "I can make it as beautiful, practical, and amusing as I want.
Trey Boblitt and Carson Soper led BHS with 11 points apiece, Nic Essinger and Kyler Kinn tallied 8 each, Trenton Donley added 6 points on 2 triples

VAN BUREN - Visiting Bluffton built a double-digit lead and staved off a late Van Buren rally to win a non-conference boys basketball makeup contest 49-44 Wednesday night.

Medicine at Midnight is the tenth studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters. Scheduled for 2020, the album was delayed to February 5, 2021 due to the pandemic. Three singles were released ahead of the album: “Shame Shame,” “No Son of Mine,” and "Waiting on a War.”

RAWSON - Bluffton lost a seesaw nailbiter at Cory-Rawson 36-35 in a Div. IV girls basketball sectional semifinal Wednesday night to end their season in heartbreaking fashion.
Hornet Libby McVetta sank a game-winning three-pointer from out top to foil the Lady Pirate comeback effort.
C-R ran out to an early five-point lead after a Zoe Chisholm corner triple. The hosts led the Pirate girls 7-2 after a very low-scoring first period of play.
Bluffton stormed back with a 16-point second stanza to grab an 18-15 intermssion lead.
