P-G Boy Scouts hold pancake/sausage dinner Feb. 14

Pandora-Gilboa Boy Scout Troop 226 is having a Pancake & Sausage Dinner on Sunday, Feb. 14, from 10:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church, 108 E. Washington St. (Rt 12), Pandora.

Ticket prices are: Presale, adults $5; at the door, adults $7; kids 4-12, $4; and 3 & Under free. Carry-outs available, drinks included.

Community Health Professionals, Ada, holds inside garage sale Feb. 26-27

Community Health Professionals will hold an inside garage sale Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27, according to Deb Curlis.
 
Persons may rent a table for $10 to display items and must be present during open hours to take care of your own sales.
 
Set up is Thursday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 
Sale hours are:
• Friday, Feb. 26: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 27: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Made eight miles from Bluffton

That's right. The football carried in the hands of the Carolina Panther, who just now scored a TD in the Super Bowl, well, it was made in Ada. Wilson Sporting Goods of Ada makes all footballs played in the NFL and in the Super Bowl.

Karen Anita Tharp was a retired nurse

Karen Anita Tharp, 68, of Findlay died, at 9:41 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, surrounded by her family, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center.  

She was born on Oct. 10, 1947, to the late James H. and Catherine (Stanford) Purdum.  On Nov. 5, 1966, she married David C. Tharp and he survives.
