You have until the end of this week to order blueberries from Marlin

Marlin Gerber will have 10 pound boxes of Michigan blueberries available in Bluffton on Tuesday, July 7  at 12:30 p.m.

The deadline for orders is Sunday, July 5.

Gerber said that there are about six rounding quarts of berries in 10 pounds and the cost is $25 per box.

E-mail orders at [email protected] with an important  subject line: "Bluffton Blueberries." 

Orders may be picked up in the parking area behind Bluffton University’s Houshower House between 12:30 and 2 p.m. on July 7

Saturday AM: U.S. Weather Service flash flood watch still in effect

The U.S. Weather Service continues its Flash Flood Watch for Allen and Putnam counties.

Here is its message: 

A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following areas: Allen, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert, until 2 p.m. this afternoon.

Rain will continue through Saturday afternoon.

Radar estimates and Spotter Reports suggest that between 1 and 3 inches of rain has already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of around an inch are expected by the afternoon.
