This time we had advance notice. The rains came and continue. The Riley rises and continues to rise.

Earlier today  two messages from the Bluffton Police Department follow:

At 11:24 a.m. -
Advisory: Spoke too soon. College Ave now closed. Water rising faster than anticipated. More rain will likely result in additional closures.

At 11:02 a.m. - 
Advisory: Riley Crerk is out of its banks but rising slowly. We continue to monitor for necessary action.
