Opioid crisis on film Oct. 1 at Bluffton University

Award-winning filmmaker Conrad Weaver will share about his experiences documenting the opioid crisis during two Tuesday, Oct. 1, presentations on the campus of Bluffton University.

At 11 a.m., Weaver will present the Forum “"It's Not My Problem … And Other Myths About the Opioid Crisis," in Yoder Recital Hall.

Village receives $17,098; school $14,755 from Bureau of Workers' Compensation

Part of BWC agency rollback

Bluffton, Richland Township and neighboring municipal governments will receive funds from the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) as part of the agency’s rollout this week of $172 million in dividend checks to Ohio’s public employers.

It's Bluffton's Fall Festival weekend

Activities downtown, MMH, Maple Crest, Swiss homestead, Bluffton Hospital and (Friday night at BFR)

The Bluffton community’s 16th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

New this year, Bluffton Family Recreation will host a “Kickoff Event” on Friday, Sept. 27, beginning at 5 p.m.
