BHS grad at ONU on women's lacrosse squad

Kylee Barnett stands ready to play lacrosse Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium, but she did not score, nor did any member of either team because the officials did not show up.

The game against Olivet was postponed to another day. This was to be the inaugural game for women's intercollegiate lacrosse at ONU. The next home game is scheduled for 1 p.m., March 6, against Keuka, N.Y.

Blanchard Valley Hospital named one of nation's top 100

Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) was today named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health AnalyticsTM. This is the fourth time Blanchard Valley Hospital has been recognized with this honor, which has been awarded to BVH in 2005, 2011, 2015 and now 2016.

Truven Health Analytics identified the 100 top U.S. hospitals based on their overall organizational performance. The study found that the top performing hospitals in the country were able to improve outcomes while reducing overall expense per patient.

Next 6-week Fit 4 Life program starting at BFR

Bluffton Family Recreation offers its "Fit 4 Life" membership in March, according to Joseph Beagle, director.
 
The membership provides a six-week BFR membership, unlimited access to all BFR facilities including the indoor walking track, fitness center, arena and gymnasium. It also connects persons with a health coach to guide you through the six-week period.
 
It also offers an "any class" fitness card for yoga, water aerobics, cardio and strength, total body conditioning and SilverSneakers.
