Bluffton Icon launches special page for Bluffton Family Recreation

The Bluffton Icon introduces a new page devoted entirely to Bluffton Family Recreation news. The page is a joint announcement from Joseph Beagle, BFR director, and Fred Steiner, Bluffton Icon.

The page launched in mid-May and BFR information continues to be added daily.

Icon viewers will eventually find information about all of BFR's programming. The page will also include calendar information, newsletters, flyers for all programs and information about staff.

The June church service schedule is set at Mennonite Memorial Home. It follows:

Sundays, 9:30 a.m.
7th - Bill Herr
14th - Mike Downey
21st - Bill Herr
28th - D.J. Fuerstenau

Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.
2nd - Jack Duffy, First Baptist, Ada
9th - Brandon Mayden, Bethel Church of Christ

The Dough Hook grilling for lunch on Wednesdays

The Dough Hook is grilling for lunch!

Marlena Ballinger of The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St., Bluffton, said that the downtown meat market will grill for lunch on Wednesdays this summer.

The first grill is on Wednesday, June 3.

The menu includes:
• Hamburgers
• Cheeseburgers
• Brats
• Various salads and cold drinks.

Food boxes available to families in the P-G school district

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District. The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four.  In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. Monday, June 15. Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, 502 East Main St., Pandora.
