Volleyball Pirates 12-6 after beating Allen East

BLUFFTON - The host Bluffton girls volleyball team won a four-setter over county rival Allen East in their Northwest Conference volleyball season finale Thursday night.

Bluffton's record improved to 12-6 overall, and they finished 4-4 in the NWC after the 28-26, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22 victory. 

AE fell to 8-6 overall and 3-4 in the NWC with the defeat in a battle for fourth place in the league standings.
 
Kylie Stackhouse drilled 20 kills, came up with 16 digs and made three blocks to top the Pirate girls. Taylor Schwab contributed 16 kills and 16 digs for Bluffton. 

Haelynn Bischoff drilled six kills, while Cora Bischoff knocked down five kills.     Kylie Monday dug up 16 balls.

Setter Skyler Scoles passed out 44 assists and mustered up 15 digs while serving a pair of aces. Sophie Bricker amassed 15 digs, two blocks and also served one ace.

The Pirate junior varsity lost, 2-0.    

Bluffton hosts MAC foe Minster (9-6) on Monday, October 12. They then visit ex-NWC rival Lima Central Catholic Oct. 13.
