Food boxes available for P-G families for April

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.

The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four.

In order to pick up a box, you must register by 5 p.m. on April 22 by calling 419-384-3905.

Boxes will be available for pickup on Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church located on State Route 12.

Pandora free community meal planned for April

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.

The meal this month is provided by Lita's Leaders will be Sloppy Joe Sandwich, augratin potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverage.

The Bluffton University softball team lost both games at Anderson University on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. The Beavers fell to 15-13 overall and 7-3 in the Heartland Conference.

Apollo superintendent panelist at the Ohio Jobs and Workforce Development Summit

Apollo Career Center Superintendent Judy Wells is making sure Lima will be front and center this Friday, April 12, when she travels to Columbus, Ohio for The Ohio Jobs and Workforce Development Summit.

Wells will speak about workforce development in our region and how Apollo Career Center and career technical education has been responsive to industry needs; forging innovative partnerships with business and industry.
