One-day only bag sale at Ten Thousand Villages Nov. 9

Ten Thousand Villages, 115 S. Main St., Bluffton, has a one-day only bag sale, according to Aphaphanh Nussbaum, manager.

During the sale customers may take 20 percent off all items that can fit into TTV shopping bags.

The sale is part of Bluffton's downtown holiday open house this weekend.

Turkey orders will be taken until Saturday, Nov. 16. The turkeys are:

• Fresh (never frozen)

• Antibiotic free
• All vegetable fed

Reservations accepted for Nov. 10 Maple Crest Sunday buffet

The next Maple Crest Senior Living, 700 Maple Court, Bluffton, Sunday buffet is Nov. 10, according to Daren Lee, director of Maple Crest.

The menu includes:
• Roasted turkey with gravy
• Caramel apple pork chop
• Sweet potato casserole
• Green beans
• Dinner rolls
• Pumpkin pie
• coffee and iced tea.

The buffet is in the Patio Room at Maple Crest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open to all adults 55 and older at a cost of $7.50 per person.
