History of Radio and Watercolor Painting CLEO courses announced

First Mennonite Church of Bluffton has announced two courses to be part of its CLEO (Continued Learning Elder Organization) program for spring 2024. You are invtied to "Come to Learn, Stay for Community." Courses are free; materials fees may apply.

The History of Radio, moderated by Tim Schumacher. Radio was the first instant mass communication invention. The course will explore:

Renee Matthews, RN, has been named the new administrator of Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau St., a division of Blanchard Valley Health System.

Bluffton Diamond sports registration information

Bluffton Diamond Sports has announced 2024 Baseball & Softball Registration information for the following youth divisions:

Baseball 

  • Ages 7-8: Coach Pitch Instructional League Season Dates: Middle of May-June
  • Ages 9-10: Minor League Season Dates: Beginning of May-June
  • Ages 11-12: Jr. Pony League Season Dates: Beginning of May - June

Spring Storytime registration for February-April 2024

The Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main, has announced registration for the Spring Storytime program, which runs through February, March and April.

Babies (Birth-2) will have storytime at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Preschool (ages 3-5) will have storytime at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Family storytime (Birth-5) will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

BEVS taking applications for 2024-2025 open enrollment   

The Bluffton Exempted Village School District is currently accepting applications from students interested in attending the school district through open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Students from any school district in Ohio may apply and enroll in Bluffton Schools tuition free. Students are admitted on a full-time basis only.

Applications are approved annually on a first come, first served basis and approval is subject to grade level enrollment and educational programs.

Anyone interested in a personal tour, a time can be scheduled that is convenient for you and your family including evenings or weekends. 

Please call the superintendent’s office at 419-358-5901 to schedule a tour or receive an application. In addition, you may obtain an application by visiting the Bluffton Schools website at www.blufftonschools.org/ under the forms link.
