"Moe" Cockrell was a veteran of the Korean Conflict

Moses "Moe" H. Cockrell, 82, died June 15, 2015, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. 

He was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Mashulaville, Miss., to the late Les and Ethel (Conn) Cockrell. On Feb. 14, 1953, he married Thelma Sidebottom Cockrell who survives.

He retired from the Lima Ford Engine Plant. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Dorothy Mae Eastman, Bluffton, died on June 13, 2015, at Betty House in Willow Ridge, Bluffton.

Genevieve Fast funeral service in August

Genevieve Elaine (Buhler) Fast, died on May 17, 2015, from complications of pancreatic cancer. She was born in Bluffton, Ohio, on June 1, 1927, and was the oldest of four children born to Leucile and Gerhard Buhler.

Richard Sheneyfelt was retired from Phillips, Ottawa

Richard A. "Dick" Shaneyfelt, 79, of Pandora died May 28, 2015, at 12:49 a.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born July 19, 1935, in New Carlisle to Richard V. and Zelma Gheen Shaneyfelt. On March 23, 1957, he married Carol Jean Brokschmidt and she survives.

He retired from Phillips ECG, Ottawa. He was a member of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, and was active with Gideons International, Bill Glass Prison Ministries, and Beaverdam Transport for Christ. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Vera Brien was retired from Lugibihl Auto and Truck Sales,

Vera L. Brien, 89 of Bluffton died at 4:25 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Bluffton Mennonite Memorial Home. 

She was born in Columbus, Feb. 25, 1926, to the late James H. and Cleo (Graves) Dyer.  On July 18, 1945, she married Lester Brien and he survives.

Beth Schumacher was a Pandora-Gilboa High School graduate

Beth E. Schumacher, 67 died May 24, 2015, at Bluffton Hospital. She was born April 29, 1948, in Bluffton to the late Harry and Juanita (Weber) Schumacher.

She was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School.

Survivors include three sisters Dawn Atkinson of Pandora, Tammy (Bill) Anderson of Cridersville, Prudence (Mike) George of Leipsic; three nephews Ryan Atkinson, Matt Honigford, Tomas George; four nieces Amy Higley, Chris Grake, Katie Anderson, Joy Houston; and twelve great nieces and nephews.
