Baseball: Pirates drop high-scoring contest

By Sam Brauen www.blufftonpirates.com
There’s no quit in this Pirate baseball team.  Coming into Monday’s matchup with LCC, Bluffton had dropped their prior five contests.  The Thunderbirds posted 13 runs in the second inning and BHS could have folded and went through the motions but they did not.  Bluffton clawed their way back over the next four innings and cut the lead to 13-11 heading into the sixth inning.  LCC was able to score five final runs in the seventh to nab a wild 18-11 victory.
