Ebenezer Mennonite Church children’s Christmas program Dec. 13

Ebenezer Mennonite Church children’s Christmas program will be presented on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Crossroads Ministry Center.

The Disciple Singers Choir will perform the musical “Wise Guys and Starry Skies,” where three kings, a camel boy, and cook travel to find and worship the heavenly king. 

The church is located at 8905 Columbus Grove Bluffton Road, Bluffton. An afterglow will be held following the program. Everyone is invited.

Pandora UM's Christmas cantata Dec. 13

The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will present their Christmas cantata, “Were You There on That Christmas Night?” by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.

The church service, followed by refreshments in the fellowship hall,  are open to the public. The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Kira Davis. The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E. Washington Street in Pandora. Rev. Duane Kemerley is the pastor.

Trinity Lutheran holds Christmas for Kids

Christmas For Kids will be held at Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera, on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The afternoon will provide children in preschool through fourth grade an opportunity to hear the message of Christmas, along with Christmas crafts, music, refreshments and fun. Heaven Came Down - display of angels and nativity scenes at Mt. Cory church

Mount Cory United Methodist Church will host its 3rd annual "Heaven Came
Down."

It is a display of angels and nativity scenes. Showins are from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 5 and 12, and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6 and 13, at the Bethel Family Life Center, 201 W. Washington St., Mount Cory.

This event is open to the public and is free of charge.

Trinity Lutheran to hold Thanksgiving Day service

A Thanksgiving Day service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 26.

The men’s choir will sing “Now Thank We All our God” and the church will be decorated with harvest items.

Three area United Methodist Churches hold service of music and celebration

Join the congregations of Mount Cory, Pleasant View, and Rawson New Hope United Methodist Churches, on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. for a service of music and celebratiion.

The service will take place at the Pleasant View United Methodist Church, 300 Township Road 37, Bluffton, and will be led by the Rev. Ben Lowell and Pastor Mark Fuerstenau. 

Those in attendance are asked to bring items for the Mount Cory Food Pantry, such as personal hygiene items, laundry and dish soap.
