Ada's Brewer Block

No, it's not Bluffton. It's Main Street Ada. You'll find the Brewer Block on the east side of Main, directly across from the Ada railroad depot.

When this photo above was taken, the stately Brewer Block was home to the Ada post office. The street was bricked, the Pennsylvania Railroad had a double track through town, street lights were relatively new, windows were more expansive and a taller building stood where Cole's car lot is located today.

Icon poll shows viewers' feelings about students studying at home

Icon viewers who are parents of K to 5th grade students told us how their children have adapted to learning at home. For the most part viewers claim it's a bit of both - exellent and frustrating.

It's a way to encourage viewers to wear masks when in public and to recognize those who are thoughtful enough to take the time to wear one.

My awesome teacher - Mrs. Boblitt

Teacher Appreciation Week was May 4-8. In cooperation with the Bluffton PTO, the Icon is posting drawings of elementary teachers created by elementary students. Wilson Steiner, fifth grader, created this drawing of his teacher, Mrs. Boblitt.
