Ohio House passes bill extending primary election voting to April 27

And, school testing, tax filing deadline, and scholarships

Coronavirus-Response Package Signed Into Law

 Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 197, cosponsored by State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg), into law Friday.

The legislation addresses a variety of challenges and impacts to state law as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The emergency legislation passed under House Bill 197 addressed many issues, including:

- Testing & Accountability – Eliminates state-mandated K-12 student assessments for the 2019-20 school year.

Kevin A. Wahl was a Pandora-Gilboa HS graduate

Played football at Oberlin, was assistant football coach with several schools

Kevin A. Wahl, 38, of Pandora died on March 26, 2020. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana, on June 22, 1981, to Richard and Terri (Eley) Wahl. After attending Pandora-Gilboa Schools he graduated in 2000.

He was an alumnus of Oberlin College he was a member of the Oberlin football team for four years.  Kevin received his Master’s Degree in psychology from Northern Arizona University.  

He was an assistant football coach for several schools and also coached midget football.  

Kevin was a member of Columbus Grove Christian Church.
