Pirates beat Grove 10-7; finish regular season at 7-3

It’s never easy to win in certain venues and Clymer Stadium in Columbus Grove is a prime example.

Despite racking up yardage, first downs and generally outplaying the host Bulldogs for most of the game, Bluffton found themselves trailing late in the fourth quarter. 

That’s when Mitchell Ault scrambled from the six yard line and completed a pass to Joel Siefker that allowed BHS to win the game by a 10-7 score.

Kyle Shoemaker, lead in the Mustard Seed Cafe kitchen, works on perfecting tomato bisque. The Cafe, currently closed, is preparing to open soon under new ownership. In the meantime preparations are in process for new items on the menu, like this soup. Watch the Icon for the opening date.

Rose-Hulman shuts down Bluffton women 5-0

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 Senior Day loss to Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015. The setback dropped the Beavers to 7-11 overall and 3-6 in the Heartland Conference. Rose-Hulman evened its season mark at 9-9 while finishing 5-4 in the HCAC.
