University concert to feature two choirs, band Oct. 11

Bluffton University will host a concert featuring its Camerata Singers, University Chorale and Concert Band at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, in Yoder Recital Hall.

The performance, part of Homecoming weekend activities at Bluffton, is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken for music scholarships during intermission.

Ideal Images joins Childers Media Group, Lima

Ideal Images, specializing in promotional products, signs, custom apparel, embroidery, screen printing, and graphic design has now joined with Childers Media Group of Lima. 

The business began its roots in 2011 in Bluffton providing custom embroidery, team and corporate apparel and t-shirts. 

Ideal Images is still committed to its original patrons in Bluffton and maintains a meeting and pick up/drop off location at the Black Lab Trading Co., 121 N. Main St.

Students see Bluffton values in distant places

Bluffton University students were reminded both of Bluffton’s enduring values and the unreliability of preconceived notions during cross-cultural experiences in the U.S. and abroad last spring.

Several students shared personal examples during the first of two Sept. 29 campus forums devoted to presentations about those experiences in May and June.

It's that season

It's the season for Indian corn. Icon viewers will find several options of the traditional fall product at the Bluffton Farmers' Market on Saturday morning. The market is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Citizens National Bank park lot.

Volleyball wins seventh straight with sweep of Earlham

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton’s second conference match of the year brought Earlham to the Sommer Center for a mid-week showdown between the Quakers and the Beavers. Bluffton came into the match 1-0 in the HCAC and the home team (10-6, 2-0 HCAC) walked away undefeated in the conference after dismantling Earlham in three sets. It marked Bluffton's seventh straight victory.

Men's Soccer drops to 0-8 with loss to Cleary

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s soccer team could not overcome the Cleary College Cougars on Wednesday, Sept. 30, as they fell by a 2-1 count. The Beavers dipped to 0-8 while Cleary improved to 6-6.
