Kyle Leatherman, a business and technology teacher at Gibsonburg, was picked by the Bluffton school board to replace Dean Giesige who has accepted a postion at Celina City Schools.
According to Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent, Leatherman holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Heidelberg. He holds the appropriate licensing as a school principal. He obtained that from the University of Findlay.

Rita Wannemacher tried on her wedding dress yesterday and it fit perfectly.
She even worn it during a wedding dress "show" at the Bluffton University Institute for Learning in Retirement's ladies tea on May 22.
Did we mention that Rita first wore the dress in 1938? Her dress was not the oldest shown at the tea. Ruth Burcky's dress from the early 1920s, won that prize. There were other dresses that came out of storage for the day. Many others.
BFR Sports and Fitness will hold a three-day, mini-camp for basic skills on June 3, 4 and 5. Youth ages 7 to 12 years are invited to learn backhand, forehand, net blocks and serves as part of the camp.
During each 1 1/2 hour session, youth will work on stroke development and learn about court positioning. The camp will be held indoors at BFR. Cost for the camp is $45 ($30 BFR member); deadline to register is Friday, May 31.
BFR Sports and Fitness invites adults looking for a challenging workout to try Ultimate Fit.
The Ultimate Fit program includes eight workouts designed to push participants to a higher level of fitness. Ultimate Fit will meet on Tuesdays and Thursday nights from 6-7 p.m. during June, July and August.
The Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District will hold a public meeting to discuss plans and seek input on the Motter Metro Park, Bluffton.
The meeting is Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.
Personnel will briefly cover the history of the Park District, acquisition details of the Motter Metro Park, and the basic plans for the park, followed by a public input segment.
Area middle school and high school athletes have a new option for refining sport skills and staying in condition over the summer.
BFR Sports and Fitness has changed the format of the Jumpstart program to include both physical conditioning and sport-related drills. Jumpstart is a good companion to “open gym” sessions provided by high schools since the Jumpstart program will be focused on conditioning and form.
