MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will hold its final Advent Service on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 7:00 p.m. . The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes of Trinity Lutheran School will present their Christmas service, "To Us A Child Is Born."
A free supper will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. . All are welcome to attend the supper and the services and the church is handicapped accessible.
Regular Sunday Services are at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. with Bible Classes for all ages beginning at 9:20 a.m.

Tony Jacomet will provide a program for the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 a.m. at Bluffton Town Hall.

In November 2025, two students at Jacomet’s Martial Arts, 121 S Main St, Bluffton, became the first Gen Yuan Kempo black belts produced at the school. What makes this even more special is that the two are father and son, Josh and Jason Gillespie.

The crossover hit stayed at number one for seventeen weeks on the Country & Western charts. The song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1995. Many have covered the song, including a duet by Willie Nelson and Leon Russel.

BLUFFTON–The Bluffton High School boys basketball team lost 54-50 to visiting Toledo Bowsher in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9.
The Pirates led 25-22 at halftime, but Bowsher took a four-point lead into the final stanza behind a 20-13 third-period run.
Both teams netted 12 markers in the fourth quarter.
BlueRacer Aidin Boschen canned four triples, made 10 baskets and scored a game-high 26 points for Bowsher. He scored 17 of his points in the second half to pace the TB comeback.
FROM BSC HAPPENINGS__The Bluffton Senior Center will have a Christmas Party for our members on Friday, December 19 at 1:30 p.m. The theme is Home for the Holidays, so come in your pajamas and enter our fashion show.
We will have games and prizes and snack food and lots of fun and laughter. You don't need to bring anything but yourself and your sense of fun and Christmas spirit. The party is for members only and is free, but you need to make a reservation so we have enough prizes for everyone.
Bluffton Food Pantry distributes "comforters" to families at Christmas
